Quaker Valley Begins Planning Process for New High School

Sewickley, PA . The school district is currently conducting community sessions seeking resident input on their expectations for a new Quaker Valley High School . The board is also working with educational consultants to define the scope of project. VEBH Architects of Mount Lebanon, PA, have provided programming and conceptual designs. As envisioned, the new building, on a yet determined site, will be a one story, 222,000 square foot structure of which 12,000 square feet would accommodate district offices.

Extensive site development , including a stadium, athletic fields, parking, and ancillary support facilities, is also planned. Although no timeline or final budget has been established it is expected that the total construction budget would be $60 to $80 million .
