Erie Water Works Seeks Bids for $11 Million Improvement Project

Erie, PA: With a current due date of December 4 , the Erie Water Works will accept separate bids for General/Mechanical, HVAC, and Electrical contracts to complete extensive renovations to the Cherry Street Pumping Station.

The engineer's estimate of probable cost for the GC/Mechanical package is $8 million ; the HVAC portion is estimated at $300,000 , and the Electrical work is pegged at $2.7 million .

A pre-bid conference is scheduled for November 14.

KLH Engineers of Robinson Township designed the improvement project.
