PA Department of General Service Issues RFP for Forum Building

Harrisburg PA: The Pennsylvania Department of General Services will accept proposals from General, HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical contractors on February 6, 2020 for extensive renovations to the Forum Building in the capitol complex. The project construction cost is likely to be over $50 million.

The state will consider technical qualifications, costs, and SDB (Small Diverse Business) and VBE (Veteran Business Enterprise) participation.

Subcontractors should take note that the prime proposers for this project will be eager to receive inquiries from qualified SDB/VBE enterprises.

A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for January 7 at 9:00 am.

The lead design firm for the project is Murphy & Dittenhafer Architects of York, Pa.
