Pittsburgh International Airport Modernization Bidding Underway

Moon Township, PA (Allegheny County): The design, program management, and construction management teams are moving ahead with design development (with LEED certification) for the PIA Terminal Modernization Program. Initial phases of the project could break ground as early as mid 2020 . The conservative estimate of construction cost is $1.1 billion , but that number is expected to rise as design nears completion.

Dallas based Jacobs Engineering Group is spearheading the Program Management for the project.

The Pittsburgh offices of Gensler + HDR in association with luis vidal + architects lead the the design team for the terminal modernization portion.

Michael Baker International is the lead design firm for the Multi-Modal complex which will include a 3000 space parking garage.

Turner Construction and the joint venture team of PJ Dick/Hunt Construction Group will perform construction management and services.
