Penn State University Selects Architect for Behrend College Project

Erie, PA: The Penn State University Board of Trustees has approved the commission of Sasaki Associates of Watertown, Massachusetts for the architectural design of a new Erie Hall on the Behrend campus.

The project includes demolition and abatement of the existing 26,381 square foot Erie Hall building and construction of a new completed facility of approximately 57,000 to 64,000 gross square feet . The new Erie Hall will accomodate athletic and recreational sport activities.

The current construction budget is approximately $25 million . The design and bidding timeline will be established over the next few months.
