Pittsburgh's URA Plans August Bidding for Broad Street Plaza

Pittsburgh, PA : The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh is targeting an early August for bid release for a new community and arts focal point in the East Liberty section of the city. The successful contractor will make extensive site improvements including plantings, pedestrian walkways, plaza paver installation, stormwater management, Broad Street upgrades, and plaza amenities. The total area slated for improvements is 21,493 square feet.

The construction budget for the the new Broad Street Plaza is approximately $1.3 to $1.4 million.

Klavon Design Associates of Pittsburgh is the landscape architect for the new plaza.
