Pennsylvania DGS Awards Penn Nursery Project

Spring Mills, PA (Centre County): The Pennsylvania Department of General Services has issued approximately $5.3 million in contracts for construction of a new 7,497 SF vehicle maintenance building and a new 8,573 SF wood and sign shop at Penn Nursery.

Lobar, Inc. of Dillsburg is the successful GC with a contract in the amount of $3,162,000. The HVAC contractor ($880,200) is Allied Mechanical & Electrical of State College. Johnstown based K & K Plumbing Company ($399,495) will perform the plumbing work, and Westmoreland Electric ($852,000) is the electrical contractor.

Base Bid #3 was selected for all four awards.

The architect for the project is Weber Murphy Fox of Erie.
