Duquesne University Announces Plans for New School of Osteopathic Medicine

Pittsburgh, PA : Officials at Duquesne University have unveiled plans for a new campus building to house a college of osteopathic medicine. The university plans to have the new building fully ready to admit students in the fall of 2023.

The new college will be situated on Forbes Avenue on the opposite side of the A. J. Palumbo Center.

The project is in preliminary design with expectations that the building with have between 80,000 and 100,000 square feet of usable space. The design is being speaheaded by the SLAM Collaborative , an architectural/engineering firm based in Glastonbury, Connecticut. The project construction estimate would likely be in the range of $35,000,000 to $50,000,000.
