PA DGS Awards Contracts For New State Archives & Record Center Annex

Harrisburg, PA: The Pennsylvania Department of General Services has issued letters of award for the construction of the new 150,000 SF Archives & Records Center Annex. Bid and awarded through the negotiated process, Base Bid #3 was accepted for all four contracts.

Pittsburgh based Mascaro Construction Co., LP will perform the General Construction work under a contract in the amount of $45,712,000.

The Farfield Company of Lititz, PA, is the successful contractor for both the HVAC ($13,780,000) and Electrical ($5,900,000) portions of the project.

Jay R. Reynolds, Inc. of Willow Street, PA is the successful Plumbing contractor at $2,020,000.

The architect for the $68 million project is Vitetta, Inc. of Lemoyne, PA.
