Contracts Awarded for CCAC Workforce Development & Training Center

Pittsburgh, PA : Officials at the Community College of Allegheny County have awarded contracts for construction of the new Workforce Development & Training Center. The 60,000 square foot building will stand on the CCAC's North Side campus.

Rycon Construction ($15,801,500) will perform the General Construction for the project. Butler based Bronder Technical Services secured the contracts for both Electrical ($3,514,300) & Fire Protection ($480,174) . Lugaila Mechanical ($3,590,000) is the successful HVAC bidder, and Cheswick based Independence Excavating Inc. ($858,200) will perform the Plumbing work.

Desmone Architects of Pittsburgh is the lead design firm for the $25 million project.
