Contracts Awarded For New Upper Merion Area High School

King of Prussia, PA : Acting upon the bids that were received on May 19, the Upper Merion Area district board voted on June 1 to award contracts for construction of a new $118,000,000 high school .

Boro Construction , based in King of Prussia, will perform both the general trades portion (contract value: $87,404,600) and the electrical work ($11,890,500).

The successful HVAC contractor ($14,391,574) is Trefz Mechanical of Horsham, Pa. The plumbing work ($3,724,000) will be completed by Stan-Roch Plumbing of Zion Grove, Pa. Accelerated Fire Protection of Kennett Square will perfrom the fire protection contract ($999,800).

The architect for the project is Schradergroup of Philadelphia. The construction manager is William H. Lane Inc . of Binghamton, NY.
