Pittsburgh International Airport Plans New Cargo Facility

Findlay Township, PA (Allegheny County): The Allegheny County Airport Authority will use a US DOT grant in the amount of $18.7 million to construct a new 75,000 square foot air cargo processing facility. The project, identified as "Cargo 4 Project" will include extensive site work and a new surface parking lot. The authority plans additional ancillary work on the sixteen acre site to support the new building.

The Airport Authority is currently soliciting "Statements of Interest" from A/E firms for the Cargo 4 Project with a due date of August 21, 2020.
