Pittsburgh, PA: Under consideration during the September 15 meeting of the Pittsburgh Planning Commission is the proposed construction of a new office tower at 1501 Penn Avenue in Pittsburgh's Strip District.

New York based developer JMC Holdings, LLC has presented plans for a 21 story building containing 12 levels of leasable office space (500,000+ SF), 7 levels of parking, as well as a retail level and a landscaped "amenity" level. If approved, the structure, as designed by Brandon Haw Architecture of New York, will rise at the current site of a refrigerated storage building.

The developer's project manager is Gardiner & Theobold of New York. The Pittsburgh architectural firm, R3A (Renaissance 3 Architects) is serving as the project's architect of record.
